General
Official version
The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions on our www.coolerthanyou.co.uk website. Coolerthanyou is the trading name of Coolerthanyou Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 5144491).
Coolerthanyou can only supply goods that are ordered online via the Website and we cannot accept orders by telephone or post.
Cooler version
If the demand is there we'd love to do brochures, postal and telephone orders. One day maybe.
Prices
Official version
All prices shown on the Website are in £ sterling (GBP). All payments, which will include all taxes, delivery, shipping and handling fees, must be made by via NOCHEX and only cards accepted by NOCHEX can make payments.
All prices are as stated on the Website but Coolerthanyou reserves the right at any time to revise the price of goods without notice.

We want to offer quality, value for money and straightforward pricing. No £29.99 items on our site, thirty quid is thirty quid right? Our prices closely reflect the cost of materials and manufacture; if these change so will our prices.
Currencies accepted
Official version
We can only accept payment in £ sterling (GBP). All currencies will be converted to GBP (£ Sterling) and you will be liable for any exchange rate charges made by your card provider

Availability
Official version
All goods are subject to availability and may be changed at any time. If your order cannot be fulfilled you will be offered an alternative or given a full refund. Coolerthanyou will contact you to arrange this via email the next working day.

Payment details & security
Official version
All payments to Coolerthanyou are handled securely by NOCHEX (Internet Service Payment Providers). NOCHEX accept payment by MasterCard, Visa, Visa Delta, Switch, JCB, Eurocard and Solo (and any other card agreed by them from time to time). Payment will be debited from your card or account before the dispatch of the goods you have purchased. Upon processing a transaction, NOCHEX will issue you with an electronic transaction receipt that will be sent to the email address you provide.
We do not hold your credit or debit card details as all card data is processed securely by NOCHEX.
Cooler version
We don't need, or want your card details, and we'll never hold them. Good news for mates who owe us money.
Lost or damaged goods
Official version
In the case of non-delivery please wait 7 days from the date of your order in case it has been delayed, and then contact us via email. In case of goods received damaged or faulty please retain the goods and contact us within 10 days of receipt, whereupon we will arrange for the damaged or faulty goods to be exchanged or we will provide a refund of the cost of the goods to the card the goods were purchased on.

We're using Recorded Delivery to minimise non-deliveries. If your purchase does not arrive, or turns up damaged we will sort it out after we've had a quiet word with the Post Office.
Returns & refunds
Official version
We want to be cool at everything, including customer service. If you are not completely happy with your purchase, simply return the unused goods to us in their original condition within 14 days of receipt. Unfortunately, we cannot make a refund for goods which have been stained by make-up, deodorant or perfumes whist being tried on or have been damaged by you after receipt.
We will issue a refund (which will not include the costs of delivery) on receipt of unused goods. Refunds will only be made to the credit or debit card on which the purchase was made. Please include the receipt and fill out the 'Returns' form sent with your order. Send this to us at the address given on the delivery note. Contact us via email if you do not have a 'Returns' form.
The goods are your responsibility until they reach us. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the goods using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods. We can't refund it if we don't receive it.

If you are not happy with your purchase, for any reason, send it back unused and we'll happily replace or refund it for you. Follow the instructions provided.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). We collect information about you for two reasons: firstly, to process your order and secondly to provide you with the best possible service.
We will not email you in the future unless you have expressly given us your consent. We will give you the chance to refuse any marketing email from us in the future.
The type of information we will collect about you includes: your name, address, phone number, and your email address. As we have already stated we do not collect or hold any credit /debit card information from you. We will never collect sensitive information about you without your explicit consent and only if it is in your interests. We will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that the information we hold about you is accurate and up to date.
If you wish, you can check the information that we hold about you at any time by emailing us and asking for details. If you find any inaccuracies we will either delete the information or correct it as required.

Availability of website

We will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that this Website does not have any problems and that the goods displayed are available. However, we cannot guarantee the availability of the Website or that any goods on the Website are in stock or available.

It is our only retail outlet, so rest assured that if the site is down we'll already be on our way over to our service provider with a very large stick.

The rights in the designs and the content of this Website are owned by Coolerthanyou Limited. They are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute or display any part of this site without permission.
All trademarks, product names, designs and logos featured on our products are the property of Coolerthanyou Limited.
Cooler version
Everything; the pictures, designs, words, logos, stories, and products all belong to Coolerthanyou Limited. Which is fair enough, as we did do it all. However, you are more than welcome to use the images on our downloads page to decorate your PC or home/place of work.
Right to alter terms and conditions

We reserve the right to alter these terms and conditions without notice from time to time.
